The country's power facilities have faced increased attacks in recent weeks

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have led to blackouts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in the city's east were plunged into darkness and dealt with problems to drinking water, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while officials has demanded "real steps" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 rockets struck the country's power systems, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes hit power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Regional authorities said the city came under significant strikes throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child lost their life and several individuals were hurt.

The attacks succeed evenings of air raids in the region, sections of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to detect.

National leaders told journalists that Russia was purposely seeking to destroy the national power system, with attacks already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and officials were preparing for additional strikes.
